Nutsy Notes

A spatial way to think in text

Nutsy Notes is a text-first workspace for ideas that do not naturally belong in one continuous document. It combines the calm reading experience of a clean page with the freedom to arrange related thoughts across columns, segments, and movable panels.

The canvas is intentionally quiet. Structure is present when you need to work with it, but recedes when you want to read and think.

How the workspace is organized

A workspace contains columns. Columns can be divided into independently scrollable segments, and each segment contains panels. Panels hold ordered blocks such as text, lists, images, and drawings. Lists can contain hierarchical items.

Drag handles are used to select and reposition objects. Text itself remains dedicated to writing and editing. The hidden grid keeps spatial decisions consistent without making the canvas look like graph paper.

Working with your material

Write directly, reorganize objects when the structure changes, and use panels to keep related material together. Undo and Redo cover structural and content changes. Workspace files can be saved to and loaded from your computer, while local recovery helps protect unsaved work.

The application supports mixed text direction, configurable typography and colors, structured copy and paste, images, and simple drawings—all while preserving a document-like visual character.

About this project

Nutsy Notes is an evolving desktop-first experiment in object-based writing: a place where text can remain readable as prose while gaining a meaningful position in space.
